For over a decade, Avalon Soccer Club has maintained connections with the soccer community in Vanuatu through an annual tour by the Women U16’s Soccer Teams. Our mission is to help communities in Vanuatu with donations of supplies and equipment through the lens of women’s soccer. In the process we will experience beautiful community spirit, a greater awareness of others and a richer understanding of a different culture, treasured memories that will linger far beyond the tour duration.
Our purpose is to promote and support women’s soccer in the region, support communities in Vanuatu and make a difference to the lives of our Pacific neighbours and to give Avalon Soccer players exposure to international games while experiencing unique cultural community life. It’s not just a trip; it’s a chance to grow as athletes and as people with a bigger world view.
