Tasting Notes

This Shiraz is a rich, succulent and savoury style of Shiraz. An exotic array of aromas and flavours; blackberry, chocolate, coffee, licorice and spicy pepper characters in an easy drinking, medium-weight style which reflects the region and should have broad appeal. Aromatic, rich fruit supported by subtle oak and offering an array of flavours. Blackberries complexed by spice, the suggestion of chocolate, coffee and licoriceall satuate the tongue in a wine that show restraint a premium cool climate region can provide.

Palandri Vita Novus Chardonnay 2008

This wine shows aromas of melon and hints of cashew nuts on the nose. The palate is well balanced with intense stone fruit and subtle French oak characters that lead to a long and creamy finish with an elegant structure.

Palandri Vita Novus Sauvignon Blanc Semillon 2010

The wine shows pungent aromatics of passionfruit and citrus with spicy notes from the 100% French oak barrique fermentation. The Margaret River Semillon provides great structure, with the Frankland River Sauvignon Blanc giving the wine passionfruit flavours.
